Laser engraved to order

Put your name
on the board.
Not someone else's.

Your nickname, your team crest, your club badge, cut by laser into the flight itself. No stickers, no print to peel off after a season in a pub case. Made one set at a time, by hand.

What we engrave

Flights are where it starts. Not where it stops.

Everything below is cut on the same laser, in the same batch, so a set can match end to end. Send one design and it can run across the lot.

Flights

Names & nicknames

The one everybody starts with. Your throwing name on one wing, your mark on the other, cut clean in white so it reads across the oche.

Three black dart shafts laid in a row, each engraved in white with the same name

Shafts

Matching shafts

The detail most people never think to ask for. Engraved to match the flights so the whole dart reads as one piece, not two halves that happen to screw together.

A black dart case engraved with the Funky Gibbon logo, a cartoon ape, on its lid

Cases

Engraved dart cases

Your case out on the table before you have thrown a dart. Same artwork as the flights, cut into the lid, so the whole kit belongs to you on sight.

Three black flights engraved with ALBA and a Scottish thistle, presented in a white gift box

Gift sets

Boxed presentation sets

For birthdays, retirements and end-of-season presentations. The set arrives boxed and ready to hand over, which is the whole point of a gift nobody else could have bought.

Cut, not printed

It cannot peel off, because it was never stuck on.

A printed flight is ink sitting on top of plastic. It scuffs in the case, it lifts at the edges, and after a season of being pulled out of a board it looks tired.

Engraving removes material instead of adding it. The design is cut into the flight, in white, against solid black or a solid colour. It cannot be rubbed off, washed off or picked at, and it looks the same on the last night of the season as it did on the first.

The one thing it will not do is work on transparent flights. White engraving needs something solid behind it to read against, so clear flights are the only thing we turn down.

How it works

Four steps, and you approve it before anything is cut.

Nothing goes on the laser until you have seen it and said yes. If the artwork needs tidying up first, that gets sorted between us.

Send what you have

A logo file, a club badge, or just the name you want on them. Tell us the make and shape of flight you already play with.

Artwork gets set up

The design is prepared for the laser, sized to the flight and adjusted so it still reads clearly at the size it will actually be seen.

You give the nod

You see the layout before anything is committed. Changes at this stage cost nothing, so this is the point to be fussy.

Cut, checked and posted

Your set is engraved by hand, checked over, and posted out. Team orders are cut in one batch so every player's set matches.

Pub & league teams

One crest. Every name. Same batch.

A team that turns up with matching flights looks like a team. It is the cheapest thing you can do that makes a side look properly set up.

Send the club or pub badge over once and every player gets the same crest with their own name underneath it. Because the whole order is cut in a single batch, the engraving is identical across the set rather than drifting between one player's and the next.

Same applies to charity nights, Super League sides, works teams and anyone running a tournament who wants something on the prize table that cannot be bought in a shop.

Ask about a team order

Questions, answered

The things people ask before they order.

What can you engrave onto a dart flight?

Names and nicknames, team and club crests, business logos, and artwork. The engraving is cut in white into the flight itself, so it will not peel or wash off the way a printed sticker does.

Which makes of flight can you engrave?

K-Flex, Fusion, Nitro and L-Style are all stocked as standard, and other makes can be engraved on request. Tell us what you already play with and we will match it, because nobody should have to change their throw to get their name on their darts.

Can you engrave clear or transparent flights?

No, and this is the one genuine limitation. The engraving reads as white, so it needs a solid background behind it. Solid black and solid colours both work well. Transparent flights do not.

Do you engrave anything besides flights?

Yes. Shafts and dart cases can both be engraved to match, and a full set can be supplied in a presentation box if it is going to be a gift.

Can you do a full set for a pub or league team?

Team sets are a large part of what we do. One crest, every player's own name underneath it, all cut in the same batch so the whole team matches on the oche.

How do I get a price?

Send over what you want engraved, the make of flight, and how many sets you need. You will get a price back for that specific job, along with when it would be ready.
